The curriculum recommended for the PeopleSoft Portal Administrator teaches the knowledge and skills you need to master the Peoplesoft Portal.

The Peoplesoft Portal Administrator is the primary contact and custodian for the everyday administration tasks of the Peoplesoft Portal. In addition, he or she is responsible for the design and implementation of the Portal. Implementation of the Portal includes, but is not limited to, configuring and deploying homepage tabs, pagelets, and branding. Other ongoing tasks configured by the Portal Administrator include: maintaining navigation, integration of the Portal with other PeopleSoft and non-PeopleSoft applications, managing content, maintaining homepages, pagelets, and branding, and coordinating site management. The Portal Administrator may also perform task associated with securing the Portal elements (often by working closely with the Security Administrator).
