What is Private Event training?
Private Events are designed to meet your training needs, while reducing the impact on your business. The course content, agenda and timing can be tailored to your specific requirements, or you may choose the standard content for any course. Course length can be adjusted by eliminating topics you don’t need and/or spending more time on topics that you do need. Course exercises can use our standard training environment or your own data.
What is included?
The exact details will vary with the specific event and the degree to which it
differs from our standard offerings. However, the following principles apply to
all courses:
- A focus on your business needs and learning objectives.
- Flexible content, agenda and delivery options.
- Oracle University expertise to prepare and deliver the course.
- Training Materials: standard or customized/tailored course manuals.
- Privacy and confidentiality: the opportunity to explore issues specific to your organization without members of other companies being present.
- Oracle University's hosted EduTel environment (if applicable): Leave the
technical setup to us; we will host your training environment remotely.
Where do Private Training events take place?
- Private events can be held on-site, at your training location, or at an authorized Oracle University facility. In some cases, it may also be possible to hold a private event online.
- Private training is restricted to only staff from your company or organization.
What are the Private Event hardware and software requirements?
If the event is to be delivered at an Oracle Training Center, we will provide the full training environment, including all necessary software and hardware required for the course.
If the event is to be delivered on-site at your training location, then we will help you identify the technical environment requirements related to your training needs.
In general, if the event is to be delivered on-site at your premises, you must already have your own licenses and copies of the applicable Oracle software to be taught, and it must be installed, configured and tested to support your Oracle University training. You should discuss additional details with your Oracle University representative.
