If you haven't yet discovered this, you soon will: Oracle Certification has just launched a new service for you! CertView is our new certification management system, which now gives you the ability to view your Oracle certification transcript and exam history, as well as other services. We've included the links and a brief write-up here in the e-magazine.
We're about to release several new certification exams live in production, so if these are in your technical area - be sure and check out the updates below.

Oracle University has just launched CertView – the new Oracle
Certification Program management system.
CertView gives you the ability to:
• View your Oracle certification transcript and exam history
• Download your authorized certification logos
• Get an update on the status of your certification success kit,
and
• Send an official verification of your certification status to third
parties on demand.
CertView is available at no charge to all Oracle certification candidates and certification holders worldwide, and can be accessed using your Oracle Single Sign On (SSO) account.

Update: Oracle Certification at Oracle OpenWorld 2009
Oracle OpenWorld 2009 is here!
October 11th through 15th is the annual “All Things Oracle event” at Moscone Center in San Francisco. Several of us from the Oracle Certification team are there with the OCP lounge, as well as two sessions on Oracle Certification.
Something new this year: if you’re Oracle certified at any of our levels, you now have access to the OCP Lounge
OCP Lounge
This is the first year when all Oracle Certification holders are invited to the Oracle Certification Program (OCP) Lounge. So, whether you hold a Master, Professional, Expert, or Associate Oracle certification, you are welcome to mingle and network with other Oracle certified OpenWorld attendees. The lounge provides an exclusive space for our most-valued product experts and offers a relaxing environment, informal meeting place, and light snacks. Additionally, the lounge has an online lab with access to FREE Self Test Software Practice Exams.
And, if you are considering becoming Oracle Certified, or want to upgrade your certification, Oracle Certification Program staff are available outside the lounge area to answer all your questions.

ORACLE DATABASE CERTIFICATION
Reminder: New Exam Soon To Be Live: “Oracle Database 11g: Performance Tuning” Exam (1Z0-054)
The new “Oracle Database 11g: Performance Tuning” certification exam will soon be live.
The beta period recently closed for certification exam 1Z1-054, which is a single exam requirement for Oracle 11g DBA OCPs to earn the Oracle Database 11g Performance Tuning Certified Expert (OCE) certification.
This certification endorses those database administrators, support engineers, and technical consultants who have demonstrated their knowledge and skills using Oracle Database 11g automatic tuning features, including SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL Access Advisor, Automatic Workload Repository and Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor.
Beta analysis and processing is currently underway, and the production exam is expected to be released soon as exam 1Z0-054. Candidates who participated in the beta can expect their beta score results soon after the live production exam is released.

The new “Oracle Database 11g: Administration II” certification exam is now live in production.
This new exam (1Z0-053) is a single exam requirement for those holding the Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate (OCA) to earn to Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
Candidates can register now for the live exam, which is available at Pearson VUE testing centers worldwide with immediate scoring and pass/fail status. Candidates who participated in the beta can expect to receive your beta score results within the coming weeks.

ORACLE MIDDLEWARE CERTIFICATION
Reminder: New Exam Soon To Be Live: “Program with PL/SQL” Certification Exam (1Z0-144)
The new “Oracle Database 11g: Program with PL/SQL” certification exam will soon be live.
The beta period recently closed for certification exam 1Z1-144, which is is offered as an alternative option to taking existing exam 1Z0-147 (Program with PL/SQL) for both the Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate (OCA) and Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional (OCP) certification tracks.
Beta analysis and processing is currently underway, and the production exam is expected to be released soon as exam 1Z0-144. Candidates who participated in the beta can expect their beta score results soon after the live production exam is released.

ORACLE E-BUSINESS SUITE CERTIFICATION
ORACLE CERTIFICATION RELEASES LIVE EXAM: 1Z0-206 "ORACLE E-BUSINESS SUITE R12: SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION"
The new “Oracle E-Business Suite R12: System Administration” certification exam is now live in production.
This new exam (1Z0-206) is the only exam required to earn the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 System Administrator Certified Expert (OCE) certification.
This new EBS R12 certification focuses on the candidate’s abilities to effectively manage the Oracle R12 Applications environment and architecture, and measures competency for the foundational skills required to highlight the key parameters necessary to analyze system activity and performance.
Candidates can register now for the live exam, which is available at Pearson VUE testing centers worldwide with immediate scoring and pass/fail status. Candidates who participated in the beta can expect to receive your beta score results within the coming weeks.
