Associate Level:

  • Introduction to PS for CRM Rel 8.9

    This course is the prerequisite course for all PeopleSoft CRM application classes, although versions of this course for other product lines are acceptable substitutes. In this one-day course, participants learn central concepts of PeopleSoft applications. These concepts include practical skills such as navigation and personalization, and conceptual background information such as the use of control tables to enforce business rules.

    In this one-day course, participants learn about the common objects - customers, workers, and products - that are the foundation of PeopleSoft CRM applications. Participants learn how these objects are used in different applications and learn the practical skills to set up these objects. Participants are also introduced to the capabilities of the CRM automation and configuration tools that are more fully explored in the CRM Automation and Configuration course.

    This 3-day course is designed to train the implementer in the major areas of the Sales Application. The content includes conceptual information about the PeopleSoft Proprietary Knowledge Enabled Sales (KES) process. The course also addresses the configuration parameters for Leads, Opportunities, Forecasting and Revenue. Functions addressed in this course include Territory Management, Autoforecasting and Workflow event handlers. The Mobile Sales application and Strategic Account Planning are also addressed in the later portion of the class.
