This four-day class focuses on the delivered security components of the PeopleSoft system. Implementation team members who are responsible for security should take it soon after the installation. Students will implement security for a variety of PeopleSoft uses, such as development, batch program execution, reporting, and application-specific security. Using PeopleTools Security, students set up user profiles, permission lists, and roles for a variety of users of a PeopleSoft system. Students design requirements for security in the context of the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, which includes directory authentication.
